About Us
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
We opened our office in the Washington D.C. area
in 1996. The
people here have been very good to us. Since we opened our offices, we
have continued to grow and prosper. We have provided nutritional
information and guidance for diet, health, and sports needs to many
different people. Our patients have come from greatly varied and
sometimes from extraordinary backgrounds. We have cared for
distinguished individuals in the Military, Business Community,
Healthcare Community, as well as those in the Government and
Political Arena. They have come from Capitol Hill, and some have come
from all over the world. Some are very public and seen on TV or quoted
in the newspapers, others are very private. Some are even from the
Secret Service, CIA and the FBI. And then there are others--well we
don't even know exactly who they are or what they do. But, one thing
that is true for all of the people we have seen--is that: good
nutrition--not skipping meals, not overeating, decreasing fat intake and
getting enough protein in the diet, is essential for
emotional well being as well as for energy, vigor, zeal in everyday
matters, longevity, and ultimately happiness at work, at play, and at
home.
In order to provide the type of nutrition that is needed by those from such
varied backgrounds and in today's hectic fast paced environment, we have
had to explore a variety of products that are not found in the
common store. And it is this real time-real environment that we have
used through these years to sort out products that are generally liked or
loved versus those products that are generally hated by those who come to our office.
And it was with this same experience and knowledge which we used, to
then put this site together, in order to provide you the best of products
to meet your special diet, health, and sports needs.

Our general office hours that we are open are:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM E.S.T.
Friday's 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
DR. LUCERO:
I graduated from Medical School at the University of Colorado in
1980. Following Medical School, I went to the University of South
Alabama for my internship and residency in Family Practice and
Pediatrics. I then provided medical care primarily to adolescents and
adults after the completion of residency training. I had been providing a limited amount of weight loss services as part
of my general medical practice for several years. In
October 1996 and opened up the offices that eventually became "Center for Health and
Weight Loss" in the Washington D.C. area.
Besides providing thousands of patients medical care for weight loss,
nutritional guidance for healthy living, and nutritional guidance for
sports enthusiasts, I have remained very physically active and a sports
enthusiast myself. I have been a student in martial arts since 1997 and I earned a First Degree Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do,
(Korean Style Karate) in 1999. I still go to
various Martial Arts classes on a regular basis several hours per week
to work towards a Second Degree Blackbelt. I also do weight training
once or twice a week, and do some running. Of course, with a busy
medical practice, all of this is made possible only by a very dedicated,
talented, and wonderful office staff.
